He's Tricky!!

I get so frustrated sometimes at how tricky the devil can be. One minute your worshipping God and giving him all the praise and glory you can muster and the next minute you find you're listening to something that couldn't have anything in it that would bring glory to our Father.

Why is that? How can it be so easy sometimes to just forget the awesome experience you may have had just within the last few hours and then go in a totally opposite direction?

The devil is so tricky. He knows how to fish. He gives us the bait that he knows we can't resist and before we know it we are nibbling on it and then eventually when it just becomes too much to bare we find we are hooked and he's literally reeling us in!

I think it says a lot about how human we really are. How it is so easy to fall back to old habits or ways so easily. It really does prove how great Jesus is. Knowing that he was tempted and yet without sin.

Kind of makes our salvation through Jesus mean a lot more doesn't it? Just knowing that Jesus did something for us that we could never do for ourselves.

Don't fall for the devils tricks, and if you do, don't forget about the one who isn't fooled by the father of lies. He really is the only one who can deliver us from all the tricks.
