In Colossians 4 there is a great definition of spiritual maturity. If all of us obeyed this verse, it would revolutionize our lives.

Colossians 4:5 says:

Make the most of every opportunity.

This scripture doesn't specify how many or how few opportunities. It doesn't quantify how small or how large the opportunity. We simply need to make the most of every opportunity.

Could you imagine the effect this scripture would have on our world if we simply stuck this memory in our hearts and utilized it every time opportunity knocked?

This new year, let's make the most of EVERY opportunity. Let us measure our spiritual maturity by what we do with every little opportunity we've been given.

Who knows, maybe your opportunity is the very one that makes a kingdom opportunity for someone else.

  1. Makes me think of the lesson you gave on "Interrupted"... taking EVERY opportunity - even those you aren't expecting.
