Unless They Succeed, We Don't Succeed!

If you haven't noticed lately, on my blog I've been stuck in this leadership/character trend. I don't know why but I feel like I could never develop this area of my life enough and therefore I love to spend a lot of time improving and sharing this aspect of my walk. Hopefully others of you are benefiting from this as well.

Anyway, I ran across a quote that has really stuck with me the last couple of days...

"Unless they succeed, we don't succeed."

- Andy Crouch

Wow!

What if we thought about this statement every time we went to do what we do?

Would our passion be more obvious?

Would the time we put into preparation have more significance?

Would our hearts be more open to anyone and anything?

What would our follow-up look like?

Until we realize why we do what we do, so that others will succeed, we will continue to miss the mark in leadership.

It is often said that, "No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care."

Is the success of others one of your top priorities?
