Agents Of Change or Changing Agents?

Something that I've been thinking about a lot here lately is this question...

Are we really the agents of change that Christ called us to be or are we allowing the world to make us changing agents?

It may be a huge shock for you when you step back and examine your spiritual walk for a minute. Do it, right now. Stop for a few minutes and examine the journey you've been on with the Lord. What does it look like?

Do you find yourself being an agent of change, or has the world attacked so much and so often that it is changing you? Keeping you from being the agent of change you know you're supposed to be?

Here is something that should drive this point home,

Ezekiel 33:7-9

7 “Now, son of man, I am making you a watchman for the people of Israel. Therefore, listen to what I say and warn them for me. 8 If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths. 9 But if you warn them to repent and they don’t repent, they will die in their sins, but you will have saved yourself.

Are we really focused on reaching the lost and being the agents of change God calls us to be?

Or do we let the standards of this world tear down the very elect and let Satan win the battle of changing God's agents?

It's something we really need to think about.
