Refocus

I'm finding more and more here lately that sometimes as Christians we have to step back and REFOCUS!

Why?

Because if we don't we lose sight of what it really is we are supposed to be focused on in the first place!

How easy it is for the enemy to deceive us and throw things at us that look like good things (and probably are) but are only being used to distract us from the best things!

If you are in a situation where you are putting your career, (good thing) over your spouse, (best thing), you need to REFOCUS.

If reading the newspaper, (good thing) is getting more of your time than reading the word of God, (best thing), you need to REFOCUS.

If you spend more time wearing out your eyes on the TV, (good thing) than wearing out your knees in prayer, (best thing) then you need to REFOCUS.

If you find it is easier to gossip than to edify, you need to REFOCUS.

If you can't go a day without complaining but you can go a year without thanking, you need to REFOCUS.

If you want to remove the speck of dust from your brother's eye, but can't feel the log in your own eye, you need to REFOCUS.

If you are so involved in church ministries, (good thing) that you aren't intimate with God, (best thing) then you need to REFOCUS!!

How might you need to REFOCUS?
