Where Are All The Godly Men? Part 2

Yesterday we read in Ezekiel 22:30 that God is desperately searching for men to stand in the gap with him but found none. Today we need to look at the reasons why we men tend to get off the straight and narrow.

The simple and straight-forward answer is simply this... WE GET DISTRACTED!!!

We take our eyes off of Jesus and pursue the things of this world.

1 John 2:16 (KJV) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the father, but is of the world.

Of the Father or of the World? You decide.

A man with integrity and isn't distracted is one who keeps his eyes on the Father and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep what God says is Holy, Holy!

A man with integrity and isn't distracted is one that will step up and be the bridge builder in any broken or failing relationship!

A man with integrity and isn't distracted is one that is willing to admit that they did indeed become distracted, will repent, and do whatever it takes to amend the wrong that was done!

A man with integrity and isn't distracted is one that focuses on the bigger picture and not just the quick gratification that comes with a distracted heart!

And most importantly, A man with integrity and isn't distracted is the one that is willing to stand in the gap and cry out to the Lord, ...

"It is me!, It is me! Lord let me be the one to stand in the gap and help you build this wall, build this bridge, restore this marriage, repent of my sin, focus on you, do THY will instead of MY will!

The man who isn't distracted is the one who looks like that.
