Believe was such an amazing experience this year. At first we didn't think it was all that great to be honest with you. It was at a new location and the atmosphere just wasn't the same as it has been in the past but the last day changed all that real quick!
Words can't begin to describe how that day was and in fact I don't think I would do as good a job as Rebecca has in explaining it so why don't you check out THIS link and read her version of what happened for yourself.
I want to go in a different direction...
During the event clips of different types of missions are played and promoted sporadically throughout the event. One of them floored me! I still can't shake it. I can't get it out of my mind. I want to do something to make a difference!!

We all need to wake up to atrocities such as this. How can we just sit back and let things like this happen?
I don't know what it's gonna take, but I'm going to find a way to help somehow. I can't ignore what I know I need to do.

It really is amazing that things like this are still happening in our world TODAY!
ReplyDeleteThey promoted this at CIY last year. Kim Kane may still hve my video of it. I was wanting to try to get our women at the church to take it on as our personal mission to pray over and work with as we could.
